Fire Chief Tony Bruno said Pomperaug High School and the Middlebury Fire Department firehouse on Tucker Hill Road will be Middlebury’s shelters during the blizzard. The fire department will provide warming shelter, battery charging and minimal meals if needed. There are no showers available there.
Crews for fire apparatus and ambulances are sleeping and standing by at the firehouse for the duration of the storm. Residents in need of generators or emergency oxygen can call dispatch at 203-758-0521. All immediate emergencies should call 911. #blizzardof2015
