Quassy donates $1,200 to Healthy Eyes Alliance

Quassy Amusement and Waterpark’s George Frantzis (left) presented a check for $1,200 to Healthy Eyes Alliance this morning at the Middlebury, Conn., property. Accepting on behalf of the organization was Naomi Hayner, program manager for Healthy Eyes Alliance. The donation was raised through the July 4 sale of 3-D fireworks glasses at Quassy. Premier Subaru/Volvo, Price Chopper and Pepsi partnered with Quassy to present the fireworks spectacular over Lake Quassapaug. Healthy Eyes Alliance is dedicated to preventing vision loss in children and adults in Connecticut, New York and New Jersey. The local office is in New Haven, Conn. (Quassy photo)
