Register for BCB fall dance classes

Registration hours for students in Brass City Ballet’s (BCB) fall classes that begin Wednesday, Sept. 9 are today, Wednesday, Sept. 2, and Tuesday, Sept. 8, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. After classes begin, students can register Monday through Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. It is advisable to register early as classes fill up quickly.

The ballet has just wrapped up a busy summer of evening recreational classes, Princess Camp for ages 3 to 9, and Summer Dance 2015 Intensive for preteens and teens.  Classes at BCB include Toddler and Me (ages 18 months to  3 yrs), ballet, modern, jazz, tap, Zumba and yoga.

Brass City Ballet is a nonprofit dance organization based in Middlebury whose mission is to provide the art, technique, and joy of dance through its school, performing company, and community outreach projects. Located in state-of-the-art studios, it offers opportunities to children and adults to acquire a knowledgeable and working understanding of dance, whether it be for fun, exercise or a professional career. This season’s performances by Brass City Ballet will be “The Nutcracker,” Spring Gala (April 9, 2016, featuring “Cinderella” at the Palace Theater in Waterbury), and Season Finale.
