Alberto J. Fonseca, 48, of Naugatuck passed away Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017 at Waterbury Hospital.
He was born in Waterbury, Conn., April 17, 1969, the son of Joaquim and Maria E. (Amador) Fonseca of Naugatuck. Alberto was a lifelong Naugatuck resident and was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Waterbury.
Besides his loving parents, he is survived by his daughters, Jillian Fonseca and her partner, Sean Campbell, and Shelby Fonseca, all of Vermont; his grandson Troy; his brothers, Antonio F. Fonseca and his wife, Millie, and Manuel J. Fonseca, all of Naugatuck; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be Friday, Sept. 8, 2017, at 10 a.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home at 240 N. Main St. in Naugatuck. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 7, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
