Celebrate Middlebury is this Saturday, Oct. 14, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Shepardson Community Center. The Bee-Intelligencer will have a booth, so please stop by and say “Hi.” We love to meet our readers. We’ll have a drawing or two for you to enter and papers to hand out. If you have suggestions, we’d love to hear them.
This year’s event sounds as if it will be a lot of fun. It includes tag sales and, for the first time, a dining court where you can buy samples of foods sold in local restaurants. Local organizations will be there, too, as will a fire truck to delight the kids, and kids’ activities to keep them busy. WATR will be live broadcasting from the event, and live music and a DJ will add to the fun. We hope to see you Saturday!
