Region 15 Superintendent Regina Botsford at 4:45 a.m. announced a two-hour delayed opening for the regions schools for Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, due to icy conditions. However, she also announced it may be necessary to close the schools instead. If schools are to close, a second announcement will be sent before 8 a.m.
The school district will continue to monitor conditions through the early morning, and will decide if it is necessary to close schools. If no second message is sent by 8 a.m., schools will remain on a delayed opening.
