The Town of Middlebury Special Town Meeting Monday, Aug. 27, 2018 at 6 p.m. in the Shepardson Community Center, Room 26, 1172 Whittemore Road, Middlebury, CT will be for the following purpose:
- To vote to approve the sale of 3.2955 acres at 404 Tucker Hill Road Middlebury, CT, Map dated 6-13-18, to Paul J. and Corrine E. Fabian.
- To vote to approve the purchase of 10 Lakeview Drive, 1.63 acres, known as
Map 1-00-400F from United Bank, a Connecticut State Chartered Bank and/or its successors and/or assigns. - To vote to approve the application submitted by Dr. Dean Yimoyines and JSD Partners of Southford, LLC D/B/A Middlebury Consignment LLC for participation in Middlebury’s Tax Incentive Program.
A Qualified Voter is any U.S. Citizen who is of the age of eighteen years or more who, jointlyor severally, is liable to the Town of Middlebury for taxes assessed against him or her on anassessment of not less than one thousand dollars on the last completed Grand List of the Town, or who would be so liable if not entitled to an exemption under subdivisions (17), (19), (22), (25) or (26) of Section 12-81 of the Connecticut General Statutes, as amended.
