Online tickets for this family favorite are $25 for adults and $20 for seniors and children 18 and under. Tickets may be purchased online until noon on Saturday, Dec. 15, at Tututix.com or by calling 1-855-222-2849. On the days of the performances, tickets will be available for purchase at the door at $35 for adults and $30 for seniors and children 18 and under.

Year after year, this classical ballet brings joy to families across America. “What child – or adult, for that matter – doesn’t delight in seeing the stage fill with mice and soldiers battling, snow flakes falling and sugarplums twirling?” asked BCB Artistic Director Elizabeth Fisk Barisser. “The young ones will want to get up and dance in the aisles! My two-and-a-half year old granddaughter already can’t get enough of ‘The Nutcracker.’ Her love of tutus has led to the ownership of five of them!”

Deanna Pietrorazio of Middlebury returns to the BCB stage as Sugar Plum Fairy. Pietrorazio, a BCB alumna, is a BCB faculty member currently enrolled in UConn Waterbury.

At each performance, Brass City Ballet holds a toy drive to collect new, unwrapped presents that will be donated to children at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury. BCB dancers, dressed in costume, will deliver the toys to the children in person.
