Both Middlebury’s budget and the Regional School District 15 budget passed at the May 8 referendum.
The town budget passed with 651 for and 347 against. The Middlebury Board of Finance then set a mil rate of 33.40 for the 2019-2020 budget year.
The Region 15 budget passed with 2,245 for and 1,023 against. The Middlebury vote on the Region 15 budget was 539 for and 459 against. The Southbury vote on the Region 15 budget was 1,706 for and 564 against.
