Karen D. Downes Whitcomb of Southbury, born Nov. 15, 1946, in Waterbury, Connecticut, passed away on Feb. 2, 2020, at Yale New Haven Hospital.
Calling hours will be Saturday, Feb. 8, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Munson Lovetere Funeral Home at 235 Main St. N. in Southbury. A funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. at St. George’s Episcopal Church at 393 Tucker Hill Road in Middlebury.
Burial will be in the spring and at the convenience of the family. Donations in memory of Karen can be made to St. George’s Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 162, Middlebury, CT 06762.
