At 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Connecticut state officials said there were 15,884 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state as of 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 16. This is an increase of 1,129 cases over the 14,755 the day before at 11:30 a.m. The number of confirmed cases in Middlebury increased to 19.
On Thursday, 1,926 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, and 971 had died.
