At 5 p.m. Sunday, Connecticut state officials said there were 17,962 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state as of 12:30 p.m. Sunday, April 19. This is an increase of 412 cases over the 17,550 the day before at 12:45 p.m. The number of confirmed cases in Middlebury remained at 19.
On Sunday, 1,901 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, and 1,127 had died.
