At 4 p.m. Tuesday, Connecticut state officials said there were 20,360 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state as of 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 21. This is an increase of 545 cases over the 19,815 the day before at 2:30 p.m. The number of confirmed cases in Middlebury remained at 21.
On Tuesday, 1,949 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, and 1,423 had died.
