Loving mother, grandmother and sister

Annette (Boucher) Babarik, 78, of Middlebury, was reunited with her husband in heaven on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at Saint Mary’s Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Paul T. Babarik who passed in 2018.

Annette was born in Waterbury on September 13, 1941, a daughter of the late Maurice and Clara (Meoni) Boucher. Annette was a strong woman of faith, and was profoundly involved with St. John of the Cross Church in Middlebury, where she served as eucharistic minister and was a member of their altar society. Annette took great pride in her beautiful flower gardens, something she was very proud of. Above all, Annette adored her family and was always there for everyone.

Annette leaves behind to cherish her memory her two children, David Babarik and his wife, Ana, of Waterbury and Christine Chairs and her husband, Scott, of Gaithersburg, Maryland; a brother, Mark J. Boucher of Waterbury; her sister, Barbara Banno of Waterbury; four grandchildren, Matthew, Cassie, Rebecca and Eric Harris; and her two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Rosalie Harris. She was predeceased by her sisters Elaine Purcaro and Lena Sullivan.

Funeral services for Annette are going to be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Annette will be buried beside her husband at Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury. Chase Parkway Memorial, The Albini Family Funeral Home in Waterbury has been entrusted with handling Annette’s funeral arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Annette’s memory to St. John of the Cross Church, 1263 West St., Middlebury, CT 06762
