On Saturday, June 13, 2020, Connecticut state officials said there were 44,994 COVID-19 cases in the state as of Friday, June 12, at 8:30 p.m. This is an increase of 305 cases over the 44,689 on Thursday, June 11, at 8:30 p.m. The total number of cases in Middlebury remained at 44.

On Friday at 8:30 p.m., 233 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, a decrease of 11 patients, and 4,186 people had died, an increase of 27 deaths.

Cases in Middlebury and abutting towns were: Middlebury – 41 confirmed and 3 probable, Naugatuck – 372 confirmed and 9 probable, Oxford – 76 confirmed and 3 probable, Southbury – 186 confirmed and 5 probable, Woodbury – 46 confirmed and 1 probable, Watertown – 141 confirmed and 7 probable, Waterbury – 1,880 confirmed and 86 probable.
