Tuesday, October 13, 2020, Connecticut state officials said on Monday, October 12, at 8:30 p.m., there were 61,697 COVID-19 cases in the state. This is an increase of 320 cases since Sunday, October 11. The total number of cases in Middlebury increased to 66 (+1).

On Monday at 8:30 p.m., 172 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, an increase of 17 patients, and deaths numbered 4,533, an increase of 1 death.

Cases in Middlebury and abutting towns were: Middlebury – 60 confirmed and 6 probable, Naugatuck – 489 confirmed and 17 probable, Oxford – 96 confirmed and 4 probable, Southbury – 225 confirmed and 5 probable, Woodbury – 67 confirmed and 2 probable, Watertown – 198 confirmed and 9 probable, and Waterbury – 2,557 confirmed and 108 probable.
