Wednesday, October 14, 2020, Connecticut state officials said on Tuesday, October 13, at 8:30 p.m., there were 61,861 COVID-19 cases in the state. This is an increase of 164 cases since Monday, October 12. The total number of cases in Middlebury remained at 66.

On Tuesday at 8:30 p.m., 188 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, an increase of 16 patients, and deaths numbered 4,537, an increase of 4 deaths.

Cases in Middlebury and abutting towns were: Middlebury – 60 confirmed and 6 probable, Naugatuck – 490 confirmed and 17 probable, Oxford – 96 confirmed and 4 probable, Southbury – 225 confirmed and 6 probable, Woodbury – 67 confirmed and 2 probable, Watertown – 198 confirmed and 9 probable, and Waterbury – 2,560 confirmed and 108 probable.
