On Friday, October 16, 2020, Connecticut state officials said on Thursday, October 15, at 8:30 p.m., there were 62,830 COVID-19 cases in the state. This is an increase of 802 cases since Wednesday, October 14. The total number of cases in Middlebury increased for the second day in a row, to 68 (+1).

On Thursday at 8:30 p.m., 184 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, a decrease of 7 patients, and deaths numbered 4,542, an increase of 2 deaths.
