Middlebury’s total number of cases rose to 93 (+6) in the latest report from state health officials.

On Friday, October 30, 2020, Connecticut state officials said on Thursday, October 29, at 8:30 p.m., there were 71,207 COVID-19 cases in the state. This is an increase of 761 cases since Wednesday, October 28.

On Thursday at 8:30 p.m., 329 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, an increase of 8 patients, and deaths numbered 4,616, an increase of 8 deaths.

Cases in Middlebury and abutting towns were: Middlebury – 84 confirmed and 9 probable, Naugatuck – 547 confirmed and 31 probable, Oxford – 108 confirmed and 5 probable, Southbury – 240 confirmed and 15 probable, Woodbury – 79 confirmed and 5 probable, Watertown – 262 confirmed and 20 probable, and Waterbury – 2,969 confirmed and 171 probable.
