Over the weekend, Middlebury’s total number of cases rose to 105 (+12) in the latest report from state health officials.
In the first report since Friday, October 30, 2020, Connecticut state officials said on Sunday, November 1, at 8:30 p.m., there were 73,858 COVID-19 cases in the state. This is an increase of 2,651 cases since Thursday, October 29.
On Sunday at 8:30 p.m., 340 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, an increase of 11 patients, and deaths numbered 4,627, an increase of 11 deaths.
Cases in Middlebury and abutting towns were: Middlebury – 94 confirmed and 11 probable, Naugatuck – 576 confirmed and 33 probable, Oxford – 111 confirmed and 5 probable, Southbury – 252 confirmed and 16 probable, Woodbury – 89 confirmed and 5 probable, Watertown – 289 confirmed and 22 probable, and Waterbury – 3,122 confirmed and 187 probable.
