On February 23, Viso Bello Day Spa and Massage Therapy Center announced it is closing its Middlebury location after operating here for 31 years. The spa will close its doors February 28, 2021. During March and April 2021, Viso Bello by the Shore in Guilford will be used to facilitate appointments while the new spa in Oxford is being constructed. Viso Bello of Oxford is scheduled to open May 1, 2021, at its new location at Quarry Walk at 300 Oxford Road in Oxford.

Quarry Walk already is home to Market 32, Ace Hardware, Starbucks and a number of other retailers. The former Haynes Stone Quarry will have a 30,000 square foot onsite medical office building anchored by Griffin Hospital. In addition to walking trails, there are plans for a dog park, an amphitheater and a large traditional community green flanked by boutique style retail shoppes and 150 units of apartment style and/or townhouse condominiums. Programmed activities will include concerts, art shows, and street fairs, providing fun and entertainment along the marketplace and community green, drawing customers from far and wide.

The Guilford location is open Wednesday and Thursday from 12 to 7 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
