On Wednesday at 8:30 p.m., 141 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, a decrease of 29 patients since Sunday, and deaths numbered 8,208, an increase of 14 deaths.
Cumulative cases in Middlebury and abutting towns were: Middlebury – 626 confirmed (-1) and 88 probable (+1), Naugatuck – 3,180 confirmed and 333 probable, Oxford – 850 confirmed and 89 probable, Southbury – 1,235 confirmed and 221 probable, Woodbury – 565 confirmed and 79 probable, Watertown – 2,189 confirmed and 303 probable, and Waterbury – 14,717 confirmed and 1,607 probable.
