On Wednesday at 8:30 p.m., 37 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, a decrease of 4 patients since Sunday, and deaths numbered 8,279, an increase of 3 deaths.

Cumulative cases in Middlebury and abutting towns were: Middlebury – 627 confirmed and 90 probable, Naugatuck – 3,202 confirmed and 350 probable, Oxford – 857 confirmed and 91 probable, Southbury – 1,240 confirmed and 225 probable, Woodbury – 566 confirmed and 79 probable, Watertown – 2,205 confirmed and 311 probable, and Waterbury – 14,851 confirmed and 1,661 probable.
