From 6 pm Friday, September 3, 2021, to 6 am Saturday, September 4, 2021, the Connecticut State Police had 695 calls for service, assisted 26 motorists, responded to 35 accidents, made 6 DUI arrests, issued 27 citations for speeding and 0 seatbelt citations. They issued 47 citations for hazardous moving violations (to include: unsafe lane change, following too closely, move over, etc).
