Dear Editor:
I urge voters to cast their votes for Bill Pizzuto on February 22, 2022, to fill the 71st District Seat in the Connecticut House of Representatives, which was recently vacated due to State Representative Tony D’Amelio’s retirement.
Bill currently serves on the advisory boards of the Savings Bank of Danbury, Waterbury Hospital, Naugatuck Valley Community College, and the Northwest Regional Workforce Investment Board. He also held the position of Director of the UConn Waterbury Campus.
In the past, he has served as chairman of the Greater Waterbury Chamber of Commerce and as an alderman for the City of Waterbury. Additionally, he has held positions on the Police Board, the Fire Board, and the Civil Service Commission. Bill Pizzuto’s past and present commitment to serving our community is a testament to his desire to continually improve the lives of those around him.
Bill Pizzuto embodies the persona of a compassionate, yet realistic, fiscal conservative. Bill’s presence in our capitol as a state representative will reinforce the principles and ideals of core America. Bill will work in conjunction with our police departments to make our neighborhoods safer and will work to make our state a more affordable place in which to live and conduct business. The future of our state should be in the hands of men like Bill – those who have independent voices and values, remain resolute in times of uncertainty, and will work for the benefit of their constituents.
On Tuesday, February 22, vote for Bill Pizzuto!
Rita H. Smith – Member, Middlebury Republican Town Committee
