The Region 15 PTO Advisory Council has again coordinated a local business discount program for voters on Referendum Day, Wednesday, May 3. That’s the day Middlebury and Southbury voters will vote on the proposed 2023-2024 Region 15 budget, their local town budgets and any other questions on the ballot. Some merchants in the two towns will offer one-day discounts or specials to voters who ask for the Referendum Day Discount on that day only.
“We want to share our enthusiasm and support for the Region 15 school system and the local businesses in our community. All are encouraged to take advantage of Referendum Day Discounts at local businesses,” said PTO Advisory Council Chairperson Christine Koobatian.
Voting on the Region 15 School Budget Referendum will be held from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., with Middlebury residents voting at Shepardson Community Center and Southbury residents voting at the Firehouse on Main Street South.
