Waterbury Police report that, at 4:37 p.m. on August 14, 2024, they responded to a report of a single car motor vehicle accident at 238 Highland Dr. in Waterbury. The vehicle went off the roadway and struck a light post on private property. The solo occupant and operator of the vehicle was identified as Mark Brennan, 62, of Middlebury, Connecticut.
Brennan sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital following the accident. This incident remains under investigation, and no further information is available at this time.
