Sally Senior Ploski of Southbury died on December 24, 2024, at the age of 85. She was married to her high school sweetheart, William V. Ploski, for 63 years. They raised two sons, Mark (Penny) of Trumbull, Conn., and David (Renee) of Cornelia, Georgia. She was a proud grandmother of Will and Derek of Trumbull. She is survived by her two sisters, Marilla Anderson of Eastham, Mass., and Carol Schoeck of Clayton, Del. She also was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and their children.

Sally was born in Waterbury, Conn., on October 19, 1939, to Richard and Ruth Senior. After graduating from Crosby High School in 1957, she received a teaching degree from Southern Connecticut State University and worked as a special education teacher in Southington, Conn. After relocating to Middlebury, Conn., Sally worked as a customer service representative for Uniroyal Chemical Company until her retirement.

Sally was a devoted member of Saint George’s Episcopal Church in Middlebury, Conn., with many years spent as a member of the choir, as a dedicated volunteer for the annual Gingerbread Village, and held several other positions, including senior warden.

A lover of all animals, Sally enjoyed her time volunteering at Whiskers Pet Rescue in Southbury. She loved all Cape Cod beaches and would often say she felt most relaxed sitting oceanside.

Sally will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
