This week, the Middlebury Conservation Commission (CC) seems poised to follow in the footsteps of the Middlebury Planning and Zoning Commission (P&Z) which last week voted to recommend to the Board of Selectmen that the town appeal the January 31, 2025, decision by Waterbury Superior Court Judge John L. Cordani. Cordani found in favor of the Middlebury Small Town Alliance appeals of approvals for a warehouse / distribution center on Southford Road that were granted by Middlebury’s P&Z and CC.
The CC has posted notice it will have a special meeting Tuesday, February 11, at 6 p.m. in Room 26 of Shepardson Community Center. The agenda includes an executive session for commissioners to discuss Judge Cordani’s decision with town counsel. Following the executive session, commissioners will discuss taking possible action.
