At 4 p.m. Monday, state officials said there were 415 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Connecticut as of 10 a.m. Monday, March 23. This compares to 327 the day before at the same time.
The age group with the largest number of cases was 40 – 49 followed by 50 – 59 and 60 – 69. The age group with the largest number of hospitalizations was 80 and older followed by 60 – 69 and 50 – 59.

- Middlesex County: 8
- New Haven County: 41
- New London County: 4
- Tolland Count: 16
- Windham County: 2
The state reports 54 patients were hospitalized, and 10 have died. A state public health lab has tested 944 patients, and 113, or 12%, of those tested were positive. Statewide, more than 4,500 tests have been reported.
Cases in Middlebury and abutting towns are: Middlebury – 0, Naugatuck – 0, Oxford – 2, Southbury – 2, Woodbury – 1, Watertown – 0, Waterbury – 5 .
Towns with the highest number of cases are Westport with 74, Greenwich with 31, Stamford with 30, Norwalk with 28, Danbury with 15, Ridgefield with 13 and Darien and Hartford with 11 each.
