At 4 p.m. Wednesday, state officials said there were 875 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Connecticut as of 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 25. This compares to 618 the day before at 10 a.m. The report includes the first case in Middlebury, but no further information is available.
The age group with the largest number of cases was 50 – 59 followed by 40 – 49 and 60 – 69. The age group with the largest number of hospitalizations was 70-79 followed by 80 and older and 60 – 69.

- Windham County: 2
The state reports 113 patients were hospitalized, and 19 have died. A state public health lab has tested 1,265 patients, and 180, or 14%, of those tested positive. Statewide, more than 5,898 tests have been reported.
Middlebury has its first confirmed case of COVID-19. Cases in Middlebury and abutting towns are: Middlebury – 1, Naugatuck – 3, Oxford – 3, Southbury – 5, Woodbury – 1, Watertown – 1, Waterbury – 17.
