At 5 p.m. Saturday, Connecticut state officials said there were 17,550 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state as of 12:45 p.m. Saturday, April 18. This is an increase of 741 cases over the 16,809 the day before at 11:30 a.m. The number of confirmed cases in Middlebury remained at 19.
On Saturday, 1,938 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, and 1,086 had died.
