At 4 p.m. Sunday, Connecticut state officials said there were 25,269 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state as of 12 p.m. Sunday, April 26. This is an increase of 687 cases over the 24,582 the day before at 12:30 p.m. The number of confirmed cases in Middlebury remained at 29.
On Sunday, 1,766 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, a decrease of 44 patients, and 1,924 had died, an increase of 62 deaths.
