On Wednesday, July 15, Connecticut state officials said on Tuesday, July 14, at 8:30 p.m., there were 47,636 COVID-19 cases in the state. This is an increase of 106 cases over the 47,530 on Monday, July 13, at 8:30 p.m. The total number of cases in Middlebury increased to 49 (+1).

On Tuesday at 8:30 p.m., 67 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, an increase of 1 patient, and 4,380 people had died, an increase of 8 deaths.

Cases in Middlebury and abutting towns were: Middlebury – 46 confirmed and 3 probable, Naugatuck – 402 confirmed and 9 probable, Oxford – 80 confirmed and 3 probable, Southbury – 196 confirmed and 5 probable, Woodbury – 51 confirmed and 1 probable, Watertown – 145 confirmed and 7 probable, Waterbury – 1,980 confirmed and 86 probable.
