On Monday, December 14, 2020, Connecticut state officials said on Sunday, December 13, at 8:30 p.m., there were 153,992 COVID-19 cases in the state. This is an increase of 7,231 cases since Thursday, December 10 (reported on Friday).

On Sunday at 8:30 p.m., 1,243 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, an increase of 33 patients, and deaths numbered 5,444, an increase of 81 deaths.

Cumulative cases in Middlebury and abutting towns were: Middlebury – 267 confirmed (+29) and 23 probable (+2 new probable cases), Naugatuck – 1,448 confirmed and 86 probable, Oxford – 323 confirmed and 18 probable, Southbury – 543 confirmed and 36 probable, Woodbury – 268 confirmed and 13 probable, Watertown – 946 confirmed and 77 probable, and Waterbury – 7,102 confirmed and 493 probable.
