On Wednesday, February 10, 2021, Connecticut state officials said from Monday, February 8, 2021, at 8:30 p.m. to Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at 8:30 p.m., COVID-19 cases in the state rose to 265,496. This is an increase of 888 cases over 24 hours.

On Tuesday at 8:30 p.m., 770 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, a decrease of 56 patients since Monday, and deaths numbered 7,326, an increase of 28 deaths.

Cumulative cases in Middlebury and abutting towns were: Middlebury – 507 confirmed (no change) and 41 probable (1 new case), Naugatuck – 2,434 confirmed and 175 probable, Oxford – 658 confirmed and 33 probable, Southbury – 983 confirmed and 80 probable, Woodbury – 438 confirmed and 33 probable, Watertown – 1,619 confirmed and 161 probable, and Waterbury – 11,250 confirmed and 757 probable.
