On Thursday, February 11, 2021, Connecticut state officials said from Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at 8:30 p.m. to Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at 8:30 p.m., COVID-19 cases in the state rose to 266,499. This is an increase of 1,003 cases over 24 hours.

On Wednesday at 8:30 p.m., 731 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, a decrease of 39 patients since Tuesday, and deaths numbered 7,354, an increase of 28 deaths.

Cumulative cases in Middlebury and abutting towns were: Middlebury – 509 confirmed (+ 2) and 42 probable (+1), Naugatuck – 2,442 confirmed and 175 probable, Oxford – 661 confirmed and 33 probable, Southbury – 986 confirmed and 80 probable, Woodbury – 439 confirmed and 34 probable, Watertown – 1,625 confirmed and 164 probable, and Waterbury – 11,292 confirmed and 762 probable.
