On Monday at 8:30 p.m., 32 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, a decrease of 5 patients since Wednesday, and deaths numbered 8,279, the same as the number on Wednesday.

Cumulative cases in Middlebury and abutting towns were: Middlebury – 627 confirmed and 91 probable, Naugatuck – 3,201 confirmed and 350 probable, Oxford – 859 confirmed and 91 probable, Southbury – 1,241 confirmed and 225 probable, Woodbury – 566 confirmed and 79 probable, Watertown – 2,209 confirmed and 311 probable, and Waterbury – 14,860 confirmed and 1,661 probable.
