St. John’s donates Easter baskets

St. John’s Episcopal Church in Washington, Conn., donated 40 overflowing baskets of Easter joy to Family Services of Waterbury for children between the ages of 3 and 4. The baskets were assembled by members of the St. Elizabeth’s Guild under Helen Gray’s gentle guidance. Particular thanks go to the Easter “bunnies” who filled the baskets — Posy Benedict, Diana Hardee and Susie Markert — and all of the members who so generously contributed the wonderful gifts that filled the baskets so abundantly.
