Woodbury Town Clerk Linda Carlson announced Friday, June 26, that the legal notice for the June 30, 2015, budget referendum vote had not been published. This necessitates another town budget meeting and budget referendum vote. Carlson has informed the first selectman, selectmen, Board of Finance chairman and legal counsel of the failure to notice.
The Board of Finance and Board of Selectmen will meet next week to set the next dates for the budget meeting and referendum vote. Carlson apologizes to the Woodbury electors for any undue confusion.
