The Town of Southbury’s next phase of roadway reconstruction for Jeremy Swamp Road will begin on or about Monday, April 25, 2016. This phase will be to replace and install new drainage along the roadway from Route 67 to the Bridle Trail. Roadway surface reclaiming and grading will commence shortly after the drainage repairs.
The town advises drivers to anticipate traffic delays, construction equipment and gravel road conditions during construction. An alternate route around the construction site will be posted. The road will remain open for mail delivery, emergency vehicles, and local traffic. No street parking will be allowed within the construction areas.
