The Middlebury Lions Club is seeking information on recently deceased veterans so the club can be sure a flag is placed on their gravesite for Memorial Day. Each year, Middlebury Lions place flags on the graves of veterans buried in Middlebury.
Anyone who in the past year has lost a family member who was a veteran of the armed services and is buried in Middlebury is asked to contact Lion Ray Sullivan at 203-758-9939 to ensure that an American flag is placed on the veteran’s grave. The annual flag decorating and Memorial Day remembrance ceremony are sponsored by the Middlebury Lions Club.
