The state daily test positivity rate as of Sunday, January 23, 2022, at 8:30 p.m. was 11.36%, down from 13.29% on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 8:30 p.m.

On Sunday at 8:30 p.m., 1,477 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, a decrease of 256 patients since Wednesday. Through Wednesday, January 19, deaths numbered 9,683, an increase of 241 deaths since January 12. Deaths are reported once a week.
