The state daily test positivity rate as of Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at 8:30 p.m. was 9.73%, down from 11.36% on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at 8:30 p.m.

On Wednesday at 8:30 p.m., 1,270 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, a decrease of 207 patients since Sunday. Through Wednesday, January 26, deaths numbered 9,908, an increase of 225 deaths since January 19. Deaths are reported once a week.
