Waterbury Hospital welcomes new primary care physician

Optimized-Sharad KothariSharad Kothari, M.D., a primary care physician specializing in geriatrics, has joined the Greater Waterbury Health Network and will be practicing at Alliance Medical Group. He comes to the Greater Waterbury Health Network from Community Health Programs Neighborhood Health Center in Pittsfield, Mass.

Dr. Kothari received his medical degree from Dr. S.N. Medical College in Jodhpur, India. He completed a fellowship in geriatric medicine at Staten Island University in New York and was a senior resident in internal medicine at Interfaith Medical Center in New York.

Dr. Kothari takes a “whole person” approach to care. “I love to see my patients live life to the fullest with lifestyles that promote a healthy mind, body and soul,” Dr. Kothari said.
