Loving wife, mother, and grandmother

Mrs. Donna M. (Rosa) Williams, 72, of Middlebury, entered into the gates of Heaven on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, after an extended illness. She was the loving wife of Gary Williams.

Donna was born in Waterbury on October 6, 1951, a daughter of the late Anthony R. and Eleanor (Snyder) Rosa. She graduated from Wilby High School Class of 1969 and attended Mattatuck Community College and Central Connecticut State University. Donna had an accomplished career as an administrative assistant; most recently, she worked for the Family Birthing Center at Waterbury Hospital for over a decade until her retirement in 2016.

Her greatest joys in life were cooking for family and friends and enjoying all aspects of the culinary arts. For over six decades, she looked forward to her frequent family vacations to Cape Cod.

Besides her husband of 41 years, Donna leaves to honor and cherish her memory: a son, Jeffrey Williams, and his wife, Tara, of Newington; a sister, Karen Young, of Plymouth, Massachusetts; and her two grandchildren who she loved and adored, Russell and Ellie Williams.

At Donna’s request, all services are private and at the convenience of the family. Brookside Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home & Crematory at 200 Benson Road in Middlebury has the honor of handling Donna’s final arrangements.
