The Middlebury Volunteer Fire Department invites Middlebury children to compete for prizes for the best Halloween costumes in these categories: Scariest, Cutest, Best Overall on Thursday, October 31. Register at 6 p.m. with judging beginning at 6:15 p.m.
Judging is by age groups: Newborn to 4 years old, 5 to 7 years old and 8 to 10 years old. Enjoy candy and refreshments, too, at Fire Headquarters at 65 Tucker Hill Road.
