Area students were among those who received Upper School academic honors for the first semester at Chase Collegiate School in Waterbury. Faculty Honors is the highest academic honor. It’s for students earning a 92 or above; High Honors students earned an 88 or above; and Honors students earned an 85 or above.
Earning Faculty Honors were 12th-graders Jared Cocomazzi of Southbury and Jessica Cocomazzi of Southbury; 11th-graders Ryan Aghamohammadi of Woodbury, Richard Atkins of Watertown, and Yvonne Zhang of Watertown; and 9th-graders Jillian Carleton of Woodbury and Ethan Puc of Naugatuck.
High Honors were earned by 12th-graders Juliet Grover of Newtown, Annie Romano of Watertown and Mitchell Kenney of Woodbury; 11th-graders Caelan Gadwah-Meaden of Sandy Hook, Diana Kong of Watertown and YuleeYu of Southbury; 10th-graders Kathleen Green of Woodbury, Gelia Kenney of Woodbury, Meris Rosenberg of Naugatuck, Melody Zhou of Watertown, Jane Wu of Watertown, Vicky Wan of Naugatuck and Peter Lyu of Oakville; and 9th-grader Ritesh Vidhun of Southbury.
Honors were received by 12th-graders Maria Frennesson of Naugatuck and Christina Haack of Naugatuck; 11th-graders Jon Grimes of Sandy Hook, Colin Mariani of Watertown, Grace Frohock of Watertown, Kevin Brown of Watertown, and Griffin Puc of Naugatuck; 10th-graders Bill Chen of Southbury, Mia Matuschkowitz-Mannis of Woodbury, and Michelle Singer of Southbury; and 9th-graders Griffin Powers of Middlebury and Sarah Shao of Watertown.
