Scott Driscoll of Internet Safety Concepts will discuss potential Internet and social media dangers Thursday, Sept. 14, at 6:30 p.m in the Pomperaug High School Auditorium at 234 Judd Road in Southbury. The program is open to adults and high school-age students.
Driscoll, a retired law enforcement officer with 21 years of experience, is an author and parent. His presentation aims to heighten parents’ awareness of potential dangers while also focusing on the positive aspects of technology.
This program is hosted by Regional School District 15 and co-sponsored with S.M.A.R.T. Inc., the Central Naugatuck Valley Regional Action Council, the Connecticut Community Foundation and the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services.
