Middlebury Police Chief Fran Dabbo reported a motorcycle operator died following a traffic accident Friday. Dabbo said on June 22 at approximately 10:30 p.m., a Subaru operated by Joseph Fox, 39, of Vermont and a Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by Brendan Daly, 40, from Roxbury collided at the intersection of Route 64 and Christian Road.

The Subaru was traveling westbound, and the operator was attempting to turn left onto Christian Road. The motorcycle was also traveling westbound on Route 64, and when the motorcycle operator attempted to pass the turning car, he struck the car in the left side front door.
